Adam’s Thai Language Guide

Welcome to the area of LivingInThailand.org for gaining a basic to medium understanding and practice for learning Thai Language.  Below are some hints to learning and using the language.   Two fantastic sources for learning Thai is Google Translate   and on Youtube: Learn Thai with Mod.

For proper and polite spoken Thai language, every sentence is ended with “kop” (for a male) and “kah” (for a female.)  In more informal situations, such as with friends or family, this ending is omitted.  For extremely polite and respectful speaking, “kah-pom” ends a sentence.

To learn the very basics (for an initial Thailand entry) that I recommend, click here or on “The Very Basics” menu item.
